Role overview

The management trainee program is structured around clear learning and performance goals, with your personal and professional growth at the center. On average, trainees complete the program in 10.5 months. From day one, you will learn the business hands-on and take part in the daily operations of a branch team in Germany.

What you will do

• Gain practical experience across customer service, sales, business management, and finance.
• Work as part of one of the company’s 200 teams across Germany and contribute to branch operations early in the program.
• Deliver strong service experiences for customers while developing communication and conflict-handling techniques for working with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Support new business development and maintain existing relationships, applying sales approaches and problem-solving methods to run customer-focused sales conversations.
• Handle fleet planning, monitor costs, and review the branch profit and loss statement.
• Learn how to lead, motivate, develop, and support team members as you progress toward a management role.

Eligibility and requirements

• A university degree in any subject area is acceptable, as long as you are motivated to build a career in management, show initiative, and are willing to take responsibility.
• Applicants with a completed vocational qualification in hospitality, tourism, service, or sales are also welcome.
• You must have unrestricted authorization to work in Germany.
• Strong German language ability and good English skills are required.
• A valid German driving licence and at least 1 year of driving experience are necessary.
• You may have no more than 3 points in the German driving record system (FAER) in Flensburg and no entries in your driving record related to alcohol or drug offences within the last 5 years.
