Management Information Systems Specialist (UAE National)

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a proficient Management Information Systems (MIS) Specialist with at least three years of pertinent experience to oversee, support, and improve the company’s information systems. This role demands strong analytical skills, proficiency in reporting and database management, and a solid technical foundation in MIS operations. Candidates primarily focused on cybersecurity will not be considered.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and support organizational information systems ensuring accurate and efficient data handling.
• Create, generate, and interpret reports that aid business decision processes.
• Handle database functions including data extraction, validation, and problem resolution.
• Enhance reporting workflows utilizing tools such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
• Collaborate effectively with different teams to identify reporting needs and provide actionable intelligence.
• Maintain consistency and integrity of data across all systems.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in MIS or a comparable position.
• Well-versed in database administration, SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI or equivalent reporting technologies.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication skills combined with the ability to work well within a team environment.
