Role overview
This full-time onsite role is based in Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand. It focuses on keeping an assigned workflow running smoothly, coordinating with the Team Leader and the wider team to maintain efficiency and finish tasks without interruption.
Work schedule
The roster follows this pattern:
- Monday: 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM
- Tuesday: 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM
- Wednesday: 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM
- Thursday: 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM
- Sunday: 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM
What the role involves
- Oversee the smooth movement of work across the assigned stream and make sure routines are completed correctly and on time.
- Work closely with the Team Leader and team members to improve efficiency and coordinate the “swarm” approach.
- Keep processes moving without disruption while following all required standards and procedures.
- Lead the evening team to ensure shelves are filled to the expected standard and deliveries are handled properly.
- Support stock handling by prioritising shelf-friendly packing and reducing excess inventory where possible.
- Provide on-the-job training, coaching, feedback, and guidance to team members.
- Help maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
- Raise process-related concerns quickly to the Function Lead so they can be resolved in a timely way.
- Step into Acting Store Manager duties on rostered shifts when required.
- Take part in “Better Together” connections that strengthen collaboration across the team.
