Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Workshop Leading Hand to join our skilled Maintenance Workshop team at Maules Creek.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to fitters, establishing high standards for safety, performance, and workplace conduct.
- Carry out planned, corrective, and breakdown maintenance to ensure smooth workshop operations.
- Promote a secure working environment by identifying and managing hazards, incidents, and risks.
- Conduct proactive equipment inspections, detect defects, and initiate quality work requests.
- Take leadership during shutdowns to oversee safe and efficient completion of tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess relevant trade certification such as Certificate III in Mechanical, Auto Electrical, Electrical, or Heavy Fabrication.
- Hold a valid, unrestricted NSW "C" Class Driver’s Licence.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Exhibit proficient time management and task prioritization skills.
- Have substantial hands-on experience with heavy mining equipment, including CAT and Hitachi machinery.
