Role overview
The Maintenance Technician is a practical, hands-on position responsible for keeping the site’s buildings, equipment, and supporting infrastructure operating safely and reliably. The role plays an important part in guest comfort, safety, and the smooth running of the workplace.

Key duties
- Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks according to the maintenance schedule and create follow-up work orders where further action is needed.
- Respond to unexpected maintenance issues efficiently and with good judgement.
- Repair and maintain plant, equipment, pipework, and related systems.
- Keep maintenance documentation accurate and up to date, and suggest ways to improve schedules or processes.
- Coordinate with external contractors on-site when specialist or outsourced maintenance work is being carried out.
- Help strengthen maintenance, asset care, and reliability practices through ongoing improvement.
- Drive the company shuttle bus safely and professionally when required, following all road and transport requirements.
About you
You should bring solid practical experience from a similar maintenance-focused role and be confident working with your hands.
Exposure to plumbing, pipework, electrical systems, and general building or plant maintenance will be an advantage.
The right person will be able to assess problems, work out effective solutions, and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
You will need to follow company procedures, work safely at all times, and stay positive in a physically demanding environment.
Good communication, reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to build productive working relationships are all important.
The role also requires a full New Zealand driver licence, confidence operating manual and 4WD vehicles, legal entitlement to work in New Zealand, and the physical ability to lift, work at heights, and work outdoors in changing weather.
A rotating roster is part of the role, including weekends and public holidays as needed.
