Position Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks that ensure equipment remains safe, functional, and efficient. This includes carrying out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities across production processes. You will follow work orders diligently and complete them as scheduled, while gaining skills through ongoing training programs to maintain and troubleshoot process machinery competently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various maintenance operations to keep equipment reliable and safe.
• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Demonstrate competence in troubleshooting and maintaining process equipment through training advancement.
• Complete assigned work orders within specified timeframes.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proficient with power tools, hand tools, drill presses, and other shop equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend English-language documents.
• Effective communication skills using multiple methods regularly.
• Capable of operating notebook computers and standard office equipment.
• Physical capabilities including sitting, standing, stooping regularly, with good hand motor coordination.
• Ability to navigate stairs in a multi-level plant and perform physically demanding tasks in a hot environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, carry or stack/unstack materials, and endure prolonged standing and stooping.
• Comfortable working around operational baking machinery and associated hazards.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting wage of $27.55 per hour with potential to earn up to $29.55 per hour.
