Role Responsibilities

• Utilize welding and cutting tools for required steel fabrication tasks.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems such as gearboxes, conveyors, elevators, pumps, compressors, and valves across the plant.
• Perform failure analyses, determine root causes, and suggest corrective measures.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, HSE management standards, and participate actively in safety meetings and initiatives.
• Ensure workplace cleanliness and good housekeeping practices.
• Report and act on unsafe conditions and collaborate in implementing safety equipment and safeguards.
• Maintain regular maintenance schedules emphasizing safety standards for all equipment.
• Support continuous production plant operations on a 24-hour basis.
• Carry out assigned ISO system duties diligently.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of NTC (Class II), Nitec certificate, or equivalent qualification.
• Three to five years of relevant experience within an industrial environment.
• Strong adherence to safe working practices and ability to operate as part of a team.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and overhauling plant equipment, including furnace steel conveyor belts, various rotating machinery, and welding/fabrication work.
