Shift and Compensation
The role is for the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, Wednesday to Friday, including every other Saturday. The starting wage ranges between $31 and $37 per hour depending on experience, plus an additional $1 per hour shift differential.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a diverse set of plant and production equipment, including advanced mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, ventilation, and robotic systems.
- Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks on manufacturing machinery and facility infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and fix mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Inspect equipment proactively to detect potential issues before failures happen.
- Interpret technical schematics, drawings, and manuals for accurate repairs and maintenance.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to facilitate equipment upgrades and enhance processes.
- Document maintenance activities thoroughly in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), including repairs performed, parts utilized, and hours spent.
- Support installation and commissioning of new manufacturing machinery.
- Perform basic welding repairs and light metal fabrication to aid maintenance operations, considered a beneficial skill.
- Carry out other duties assigned by Maintenance Manager or Team Leader.
Qualifications and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Technical certifications or an associate degree in a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing maintenance or similar roles is advantageous.
