About the Company and Role
Our client is a well-established manufacturer and exporter specializing in industrial sealing, packing, and insulation products, located in Taloja MIDC, Navi Mumbai.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage the daily maintenance operations ensuring optimal machine availability and plant operation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily shift maintenance crew, including technicians, electricians, and fitters, to maximize equipment uptime.
- Implement and monitor the preventive maintenance (PM) schedule while documenting all service reports meticulously.
- Promptly address any emergency production line failures, aiming to reduce the Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and conduct thorough root cause analyses.
- Manage utility systems such as diesel generators, air compressors, chillers, and water treatment systems to guarantee uninterrupted production operations.
- Oversee spare parts inventory and liaise with local vendors in Taloja/Navi Mumbai for rapid part sourcing or fabrication.
- Strictly enforce safety protocols including Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) and permit-to-work during all engineering and maintenance activities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or any graduate qualification is required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance supervision within an industrial setting.
- Strong expertise in preventive and breakdown maintenance with proven ability to troubleshoot machinery and schedule maintenance to reduce downtime.
- Hands-on experience managing utility equipment such as DG sets, air compressors, chillers, and water treatment plants.
- Deep knowledge and enforcement of safety standards, especially LOTO procedures and permit-to-work systems.
- Competence in coordinating vendor management and spare part procurement, with local networking in Taloja/Navi Mumbai.
Additional Details
- Working hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Weekly off is Friday.
- Salary is set at ₹25,000 per month.
