Role overview
We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Staff Member to support our community houses across Kildare and Wicklow. This position is hands-on, self-directed, and suited to someone who can stay organised while working independently. The role involves travelling between locations to complete planned upkeep and repair work.
Key duties
- Carry out general property upkeep, including painting, minor plumbing jobs, and repairs to fixtures and fittings.
- Handle outdoor upkeep and basic gardening tasks.
- Move loads and assist with manual handling tasks as needed.
- Join the on-call rota and respond to out-of-hours maintenance needs.
What we are looking for
- A full driving licence is required.
- You should bring a flexible, positive, can-do approach.
- Strong time management and the ability to work to deadlines are important.
- Clear communication skills and fluent English are essential.
- You must be able to take direction and carry out tasks accurately.
- A professional, service-focused manner is expected at all times.

- Experience or capability in painting and decorating is needed.
- General building skills are required.
- Basic plumbing experience would be an advantage.
- Prior experience repairing or replacing equipment and appliances would also be beneficial.
