About the Role
The Maintenance Officer is responsible for keeping facilities safe, compliant, and operating smoothly. - Look after internal and external fixtures, plant and equipment, air-conditioning systems, cleaning-related tasks, and Legionella monitoring records, while maintaining clear service and asset logs.
- Complete maintenance documentation accurately, including safety checks, purchase orders, work orders, and other records aligned with company procedures.
- Deliver courteous, timely customer service by working closely with residents, employees, contractors, and stakeholders, and by prioritising requests that affect resident wellbeing.
What You Bring

- Physical capability and technical confidence to use tools and equipment safely and to handle manual tasks correctly.
- Strong planning skills, self-drive, and the ability to produce quality work with limited supervision in a busy setting.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative style that is professional, respectful, and customer focused.
- Good safety awareness, attention to detail, and working knowledge of WHS, building systems, and maintenance tools or technologies.
- A current Australian driver’s licence (P2 or higher) and willingness to drive.
- Suitable for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, purpose-led workplace and wants to make a direct contribution to resident wellbeing.
