About the Role
Regis Aged Care is seeking a Maintenance Officer / Groundsman for its Retirement Living site in Kirwan, Queensland. In this role, you will help keep the property safe, tidy, comfortable, and operating well for residents, staff, and visitors. The position involves handling everyday maintenance and repair tasks, carrying out both preventive and reactive work, overseeing work orders and contractors, and contributing to a positive resident experience.

Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day maintenance and repair work across the site
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks to help avoid issues before they arise
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent faults
- Manage work orders and coordinate with contractors where needed

Requirements
- Experience in general maintenance or a similar hands-on role
- A relevant trade qualification is highly desirable
- Practical ability in building, repair, and maintenance work

- Strong communication skills and a resident/customer-focused mindset
