Job Overview

I.K. Hofmann USA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team in Cartersville, Georgia. This role offers excellent starting pay and great benefits as part of full-time, onsite operations. The candidate will contribute to maximizing equipment uptime by performing routine inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Enhance machinery reliability by accurately reporting and conducting preventative maintenance tasks.
• Provide effective mechanical and electrical repairs to support daily plant operations.
• Maintain proper functioning of all industrial equipment and machinery.
• Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs on manufacturing machinery units.
• Assist with daily operational tasks ensuring smooth workflow.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Remain stationary for portions of the workday.
• Adapt body positioning as necessary to access work areas.
• Wear required protective equipment such as steel-toed boots.
• Work may be performed in extreme temperature conditions and confined spaces.

Schedule and Compensation

• Initial training Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM.
• Available shifts include swing shifts: 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM on a 2 days on/2 days off rotation.
• Starting wage of $27 per hour.
