Role Overview

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will manage your daily duties efficiently, handling tasks such as painting, decorating, gardening, and various maintenance responsibilities within the hotel environment. Your role will involve diagnosing and fixing issues related to equipment and control systems while supporting plumbers and electricians in addressing defects. Your work must always align with professional standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage daily tasks involving painting, decorating, and gardening.
• Conduct routine maintenance activities in tiling, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems concerning hotel equipment and control systems.
• Support plumbing and electrical teams by assisting with system defects.
• Work collaboratively with all hotel departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and HACCP guidelines.

Requirements

• Experience in hospitality is advantageous.
• Safe Pass certification is beneficial.
• Qualifications in relevant trades such as painting, plumbing, or construction are preferred.
• Self-driven with strong task prioritization skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic setting.
• Willingness to work flexibly with varied hours.
• Proficient in English communication.
