Role Overview
As a Machine Learning Engineer at Wispr, you will contribute significantly to creating a scalable and habit-forming voice interface capable of supporting a billion users. Your responsibilities include prototyping and designing innovative voice interface features, building infrastructure to deliver sub-500 millisecond large language model inference for millions of global requests, and advancing the personalization of speech models and LLMs through fine-tuning and reinforcement learning.
Candidate Profile
- Experience working in founding teams or startups
- Background in optimizing ML inference or building engineering systems for research purposes
- Proficient in Python programming and large language model development
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for continuous learning
- Clear and logical thinking ability
