Job Description and Responsibilities

• Perform expert repairs on luxury items including handbags, wallets, belts, shoes, and various leather accessories.
• Carry out leather restoration tasks such as recoloring, refinishing, and edge painting to restore original finishes.
• Replace components like zippers, handles, linings, piping, and hardware with precision.
• Use industrial sewing machines and manual hand-stitching techniques to stitch and rebuild damaged leather parts.
• Clean and treat luxury leather goods using specialized restoration products.
• Accurately match leather colors to achieve finishes comparable to factory standards.
• Conduct thorough quality inspections prior to product delivery to ensure high standards.
• Keep the workshop organized and maintain adherence to company quality protocols.

Candidate Requirements

• At least three years of experience in leather goods repair, shoe repair, handbag restoration, or luxury leather craftsmanship.
• Strong expertise in leather types, restoration methods, and finishing procedures.
• Proficiency in using leather repair tools, industrial sewing machines, and restoration equipment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to producing quality workmanship.
• Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Prior experience working with luxury brands such as Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Prada, Goyard, Bottega Veneta, and Celine is strongly preferred.

• Skills in leather color matching and refinishing techniques.
