Role overview
The company is hiring a Lot Attendant for Markham Kia in Markham, Ontario. This position is focused on keeping the vehicle lot organized, presentable, and ready for customer and delivery needs. The pay rate for this role is $18 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Move and arrange vehicles across the lot so the space is used efficiently and the display looks neat and professional.
- Check vehicles regularly for cleanliness and notify the right team member if any damage or concerns are found.
- Make sure vehicles display the required price tags and related information.
- Prepare vehicles for delivery by washing and fueling them before the scheduled handoff.
- Support dealer trades and carry out other vehicle-driving assignments when needed.
- Handle routine lot upkeep, including sweeping, removing waste, and clearing snow in poor weather.
- Operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles, including standard shift models.
- Interact professionally with customers and support positive customer relations.
Required qualifications
- Strong work ethic, solid organization skills, and the ability to work outdoors throughout the year.
- Careful and detail-focused approach to work.
- Experience operating both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Good time management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- At least 1 year of previous detailing experience.
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence with more than 3 years of driving experience.
- Clean driver’s abstract.
