About the role
Consilia GmbH is looking for a Lohn- und Finanzbuchhalter (m/w/d) for its locations in Dresden, Passau, and Deggendorf. The role focuses on payroll accounting, financial bookkeeping, client advisory, and support with statutory reporting and accounting processes.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare payroll and salary runs accurately and on time.
- Advise and support clients on payroll and financial accounting matters.
- Create analyses, reports, notifications, and certificates related to payroll and bookkeeping.
- Handle ongoing financial bookkeeping independently for clients from a wide range of industries and legal structures.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under HGB.
- Prepare advance VAT returns and other tax-related filings.
- Communicate with tax offices, social insurance institutions, and other public authorities.
- Help improve and digitize bookkeeping workflows and processes.
Requirements
- Completed training in a tax-related or commercial profession.
- Additional qualification in financial accounting or payroll accounting is preferred.
- Professional experience in a tax advisory office or a similar environment is an advantage.
- Confident handling of DATEV, especially DATEV Lodas and DATEV Unternehmen online.
- Good working knowledge of common MS Office applications.
- Independent, well-structured, and careful way of working.
- Strong service mindset with a friendly and professional manner.
- Enjoyment of teamwork and digital working methods.
