Overview

This contract role seeks an experienced Logistics & Supply Chain Management Specialist to enhance and verify logistics documentation and optimize supply chain workflows. This is a remote opportunity based in the United States offering an hourly wage of $40 to $50.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and provide feedback on logistics documentation such as packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers to ensure authenticity, precision, and regulatory compliance.
  • Create annotated sample documents demonstrating best practices within logistics and supply chain management.
  • Analyze and recommend enhancements to existing supply chain processes based on practical experience.
  • Offer comprehensive feedback on logistics scenarios, focusing on improving document formats and operational procedures.
  • Engage with project teams to clarify needs and communicate complex logistics topics in an understandable manner.
  • Support quality assurance activities by verifying the accuracy and relevance of supply chain data sets.
  • Assist in developing training materials that align with industry standards and address detailed supply chain challenges.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of direct experience working with logistics and supply chain functions, specifically involving packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers.
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics workflows, documentation standards, and international supply chain operations.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly in English.
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing and composing supply chain documents.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability to identify and implement workflow improvements within a logistics framework.
  • Possession of a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related disciplines is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate independently within a remote, collaborative setting to deliver timely and high-quality results.
