Job Overview
We are seeking a Logistics and Supply Chain Management Expert to join a project as a contractor working remotely. The role involves leveraging your logistics expertise to assist in optimizing supply chain processes and documentation while supporting the training of AI models. Prior AI experience is not necessary; domain-specific knowledge in global logistics and supply chain is the primary qualification. The position requires analytical skills, fluency in English, and a detail-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine and assess logistics documentation such as packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers to ensure their authenticity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
- Create and annotate sample documents that exemplify best practices within logistics and supply chain management.
- Analyze existing supply chain workflows and propose enhancements grounded in practical field experience.
- Provide constructive, detailed feedback on logistics scenarios, emphasizing documentation framework and process improvement.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to clarify project requirements and communicate complex logistics concepts effectively.
- Engage in quality assurance activities by verifying the pertinence and correctness of supply chain datasets.
- Assist in developing educational resources and training materials that reflect current industry norms and complex supply chain challenges.
Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of practical experience in logistics and supply chain management, especially involving packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics procedures, documentation standards, and international supply chain operations.
- Strong English communication skills capable of clearly explaining complex technical ideas.
- Keen attention to detail in reviewing and drafting supply chain documents.
- Demonstrated analytical capabilities with a history of identifying improvements in logistics processes.
- Possessing a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a similar discipline is advantageous.
- Comfort and competence working autonomously in a remote environment while maintaining high-quality and timely deliverables.
