Role Summary
This position is for the Düsseldorf office and focuses on coordinating ocean freight export operations end to end, while maintaining service quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ocean freight export shipments independently from start to finish.
- Arrange transport orders, make bookings, and monitor shipments through tracking and tracing.
- Prepare non-conformance reports in line with KPI requirements.
- Work with approved subcontractors based on agreed pricing.
- Support PSA BDP customers and coordinate with overseas offices and agents.
- Register and process customer complaints.
- Make sure deadlines are met consistently.
- Prepare order settlements and handle incoming invoices.
- Improve operational workflows and review outcomes.
- Maintain ISO 9001 and SQAS standards, along with accurate data records.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant brings several years of experience in ocean freight, solid commercial training, and confidence using MS Office. Strong written and spoken German and English are required, along with the flexibility to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.
