Logistics Manager

Overview

This role involves overseeing and coordinating the company's international logistics, including transportation, warehousing, customs clearance, and distribution, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products and materials to designated locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of international logistics transportation including cargo movement, storage, customs, and distribution processes.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products and materials to their destinations.
• Develop and execute logistics strategies aimed at optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee relationships with logistics suppliers, maintaining positive cooperation with service providers.
• Manage logistics budget to maintain economical and cost-effective operations.
• Monitor the logistics and transportation process to resolve issues promptly and improve operations.
• Stay informed on domestic and international logistics regulations to ensure legal compliance.
• Work closely with the supply chain team at headquarters and local distributors to align logistics activities with distributor needs and business goals.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in logistics management or international trade.
• In-depth knowledge of import customs procedures and relevant import/export laws and regulations.
• Experience with international logistics methods and established relationships with logistics suppliers; automotive industry experience is preferred.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities to effectively handle diverse challenges.
