Overview
The Logistics Coordinator will oversee all logistics operations associated with project materials, equipment, and shipments within an EPCM project framework. This role demands detailed planning, coordination, and tracking to guarantee punctual deliveries, conformity with project specifications, and adherence to ADNOC and international logistics standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Devise and execute logistics plans aligned with EPCM project timelines.
- Coordinate inbound materials transportation from suppliers, domestically and globally.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, expediting, and construction teams to ensure on-schedule deliveries.
- Arrange freight transport modes including air, sea, and land to optimize cost and efficiency.
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs officials.
- Track shipments to ensure timely arrival at project sites.
- Prepare, examine, and oversee shipping documentation such as Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin.
- Ensure compliance with UAE customs laws and project-specific requirements.
- Handle import/export permits and clearance procedures effectively.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers.
- Serve as the primary contact between project teams and logistics service providers.
- Address and resolve shipment delays, losses, or damages.
- Monitor inventory and oversee material storage at site or warehouse locations.
- Guarantee correct handling, storage, and preservation of all materials.
- Support the site team with material issuance and tracking activities.
- Ensure all logistics operations conform to ADNOC standards and HSE policies.
- Maintain comprehensive records and audit documentation.
- Adhere to international shipping and safety regulations at all times.
- Prepare logistics reports, update shipment statuses, and monitor key performance indicators.
- Provide consistent progress reports to project management.
- Identify potential logistics risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of logistics experience within Oil & Gas, EPC, or EPCM project environments.
- Prior involvement with ADNOC Gas or ADNOC projects is highly advantageous.
- In-depth understanding of international shipping, Incoterms, and customs protocols.
- Familiarity with EPCM project processes and material management software.
- Strong organizational and coordination capabilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude and decisive decision-making.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP, alongside advanced MS Office skills.
- Experience in managing logistics for large-scale gas processing or offshore/onshore projects.
- Knowledge of UAE customs and port operations.
- Relevant certifications in Supply Chain or Logistics (e.g., CILT, APICS) are a plus.
