Logistics and Supply Chain Management Specialist - Remote Contract

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Logistics and Supply Chain Management Specialist to join our team on a contract basis, working remotely. The role entails reviewing critical logistics documentation such as packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory records for validation and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and verify logistics documents for authenticity, precision, and compliance with global standards.
• Create annotated templates demonstrating best practices in logistics and supply chain documentation.
• Assess current supply chain processes and recommend enhancements grounded in practical expertise.
• Provide comprehensive evaluations and suggestions on logistics scenarios to improve documentation and workflows.
• Work closely with project teams to clarify requirements and simplify complex logistics concepts through effective communication.
• Engage in quality assurance by ensuring supply chain data accuracy and relevance.
• Support development of educational materials that incorporate industry norms and intricate supply chain challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ practical experience in logistics and supply chain roles, with familiarity handling packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers.
• Strong knowledge of logistics procedures, documentation standards, and international supply chain operations.
• Excellent English communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly.
• High attention to detail in reviewing and preparing supply chain documentation.
• Demonstrated analytical capability to detect and propose process improvements within logistics.
• Advanced degree such as a Master's in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related disciplines is an advantage.
• Self-motivated to work independently in a virtual setting and deliver punctual, quality outputs.
