Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Logistics and Supply Chain Management Specialist to join our team on a remote contract basis. This role involves thorough evaluation of logistics documents, recommendation of enhancements to supply chain processes, and contribution towards developing industry-standard materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine and assess logistics documentation including packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers for accuracy, authenticity, and adherence to industry standards.
  • Create annotated samples of documentation to demonstrate best practices within logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Analyze existing supply chain workflows to recommend practical improvements grounded in hands-on experience.
  • Provide comprehensive feedback on logistics scenarios, focusing on document formatting and potential process streamlining.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to elucidate requirements and simplify complex logistics topics through effective communication.
  • Engage in quality assurance efforts by verifying the relevance and accuracy of supply chain data sets.
  • Assist in the development of training materials that incorporate industry benchmarks and address various supply chain challenges.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of three years of practical experience in logistics and supply chain management, specifically involving packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory records.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics workflows, documentation protocols, and global supply chain operations.
  • Excellent English communication skills capable of explaining technical concepts clearly.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in reviewing and generating supply chain paperwork.
  • Proven analytical capabilities for identifying and implementing workflow improvements within logistics contexts.
  • A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and deliver high-quality results punctually.
