Overview
We are seeking a skilled Logistics and Supply Chain Management Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This remote role involves reviewing and enhancing logistics documents and processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimization within supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine logistics documents such as packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers for authenticity and compliance with industry standards.
- Create annotated sample documents illustrating best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
- Assess current supply chain workflows and recommend practical improvements based on hands-on experience.
- Provide comprehensive feedback on logistics scenarios focusing on document structure and process enhancements.
- Work alongside project teams to clarify requirements and communicate complex logistics concepts effectively.
- Participate in quality assurance activities by verifying the relevance and accuracy of supply chain data.
- Assist in developing training materials that reflect industry benchmarks and address nuanced challenges in supply chains.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years’ practical experience in logistics and supply chain management, with specific familiarity with packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics processes, documentation standards, and global supply chain operations.
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of explaining complex technical details clearly.
- Keen attention to detail in reviewing and preparing supply chain documentation.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience with process improvement in logistics environments.
- A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related disciplines is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within a remote setting while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
