Role Overview
We are seeking a Logistics and Supply Chain Management Specialist to join our team on a contract basis, working remotely from Singapore. The role involves thorough analysis and expert review of logistics documents, process improvement suggestions, and effective collaboration to optimize supply chain workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine logistics documents, including packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers, ensuring their authenticity, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards.
- Create annotated sample documents to serve as examples of logistics and supply chain best practices.
- Assess current supply chain processes and recommend practical enhancements based on real-world insights.
- Provide comprehensive feedback on logistics scenarios, focusing on document structure and process efficiency.
- Work jointly with project teams to clarify requirements and communicate complex logistics concepts clearly.
- Take part in quality assurance by validating the correctness and appropriateness of supply chain data.
- Support the development of training resources that align with industry standards and address detailed supply chain challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of direct experience in logistics and supply chain management, particularly handling packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory management documents.
- Strong knowledge of global logistics operations, workflows, and documentation procedures.
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of explaining complex technical topics with clarity.
- A keen eye for detail when reviewing and generating supply chain documentation.
- Demonstrated analytical ability to identify and recommend process improvements within logistics settings.
- Advanced degree such as a Master's in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related discipline is an advantage.
- Self-motivated with the capability to work independently in a remote team environment while delivering high-quality outputs on schedule.
