Logistics and Supply Chain Management Specialist - Remote Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking a Logistics and Supply Chain Management Specialist to join our team on a contract basis, working remotely from Singapore. The role involves thorough analysis and expert review of logistics documents, process improvement suggestions, and effective collaboration to optimize supply chain workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine logistics documents, including packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers, ensuring their authenticity, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards.
• Create annotated sample documents to serve as examples of logistics and supply chain best practices.
• Assess current supply chain processes and recommend practical enhancements based on real-world insights.
• Provide comprehensive feedback on logistics scenarios, focusing on document structure and process efficiency.
• Work jointly with project teams to clarify requirements and communicate complex logistics concepts clearly.
• Take part in quality assurance by validating the correctness and appropriateness of supply chain data.
• Support the development of training resources that align with industry standards and address detailed supply chain challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of direct experience in logistics and supply chain management, particularly handling packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory management documents.
• Strong knowledge of global logistics operations, workflows, and documentation procedures.
• Excellent communication skills in English, capable of explaining complex technical topics with clarity.
• A keen eye for detail when reviewing and generating supply chain documentation.
• Demonstrated analytical ability to identify and recommend process improvements within logistics settings.
• Advanced degree such as a Master's in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related discipline is an advantage.
• Self-motivated with the capability to work independently in a remote team environment while delivering high-quality outputs on schedule.
