Job Overview
We are seeking a Logistics and Supply Chain Management Expert to support a client project aimed at enhancing supply chain processes and documentation. This role involves applying your logistics expertise to help develop and train new AI systems by supplying real-world, high-quality insights. No AI experience is necessary; your domain knowledge and precise understanding of global logistics will be key.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine logistics documents including packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers to verify their authenticity, accuracy, and alignment with industry standards.
- Create and annotate exemplar logistic documents to demonstrate best practices.
- Assess and recommend improvements to existing supply chain workflows leveraging practical experience.
- Provide comprehensive feedback focusing on document structure and supply chain process enhancement.
- Work closely with project teams to clarify requirements and explain complex logistics concepts in an understandable manner.
- Engage in quality assurance activities by validating the correctness and relevance of supply chain datasets.
- Assist in developing training resources that accurately reflect industry standards and address complex supply chain scenarios.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Minimum of three years’ professional experience in logistics and supply chain management, especially involving key documents like packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory logs.
- Deep knowledge of logistics processes, documentation, and international supply chain operations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical details in English.
- Exceptional attention to detail when reviewing and producing documentation.
- Demonstrated analytical capability and a track record of identifying improvements within logistics functions.
- A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline is advantageous.
- Comfort with independent remote work and delivering timely, high-quality inputs in a collaborative environment.
