Job description

Role Overview

We are looking for a localization leader who can guide multilingual translation and moderation operations across several markets. The position focuses on delivering strong output quality, meeting service-level commitments, improving efficiency, and partnering closely with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct, support, and grow a team of translators, moderators, and onboarding associates working across multiple markets.
  • Keep track of daily request volumes, assign workloads effectively, and balance team capacity so delivery stays on schedule.
  • Measure productivity, quality, and operational performance indicators to ensure goals are met consistently.
  • Spot delays, risks, and capacity gaps early, then put practical corrective measures in place.
  • Run regular coaching discussions, performance check-ins, and development planning for team members.
  • Help build future leaders by identifying high-potential employees and supporting their growth and succession paths.
  • Work with quality and training partners to strengthen translation accuracy, moderation standards, and compliance with processes.
  • Serve as the main liaison for business stakeholders, setting expectations and sharing timely operational progress updates.
  • Raise technical, workflow, and process issues with Product and Tech teams and follow through until resolution.
  • Lead improvement efforts that raise efficiency, quality, and turnaround speed.
  • Review operational patterns and turn findings into clear recommendations that improve performance and scalability.
  • Make sure localization rules, content standards, and internal policies are followed across all markets.
  • Assist with new market launches, rollout activities, and operational change management.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing people and day-to-day operations.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Analytical thinking and a problem-solving approach backed by data.
  • Hands-on experience managing productivity, SLA-based delivery, and quality-focused operations.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and develop team capability.
  • Well-organized with strong workload planning skills.
  • Experience identifying operational gaps and driving process enhancements.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, high-volume environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Languages, Linguistics, or a similar discipline.
  • At least 4 years of experience in localization, translation, content operations, moderation, or a comparable operational role.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience leading teams in production or operations settings.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory.
  • Experience working with outsourced teams and regional operations is strongly preferred.
  • Background in e-commerce, marketplace, content, or catalog operations is an added advantage.
