Followmont Transport is looking for a dependable Local HR Driver to support local freight operations. This position suits someone who takes pride in careful, high-quality work, follows procedures closely, and handles parcel and general freight with a strong focus on safety and accuracy.

Work pattern and location

• This is a full-time role with permanent and casual opportunities available.
• Work is scheduled Monday to Friday, starting at 7:30 am, with guaranteed hours.
• Overtime is available and paid with applicable penalties.
• The role covers local deliveries in the Rockhampton region.
• An immediate start is available.

Key duties

• Carry out pickups and deliveries for general freight.
• Handle parcel freight manually when required.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Maintain a steady pace while preserving a high standard of safety and precision.
• Follow company rules, procedures, and operational requirements to keep work running smoothly.

What you need

• Prior experience in a similar role within a structured environment.
• At least 2 years of HR driving experience in a comparable setting.
• A current manual HR licence.
• A forklift licence is preferred, but not essential.
• A professional attitude, strong accountability, and commitment to meeting targets.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, drug and alcohol screening, and criminal history check.
