LMD (Logistics Management & Distribution) Agent

Role overview

The LMD Agent supports the day-to-day flow of last-mile delivery work, making sure shipments are loaded on time, vehicles are dispatched smoothly, routes are organized well, and customers are kept informed. The position contributes to the efficient delivery of furniture and assembly-related services while upholding a high standard of service.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse loading and the dispatch of vehicles.
• Prepare Air Waybills (AWBs) and handle delivery-related paperwork.
• Allocate delivery jobs and route plans to drivers and delivery crews.
• Stay in touch with customers about delivery timings and status updates.
• Avoid double-booking deliveries and help resolve delivery challenges.
• Track vehicle progress, delivery completion, and turnaround performance.
• Compile daily operations and performance summaries.
• Organize the following day’s deliveries, route distribution, and truck loading space.
• Maintain driver attendance logs and timesheet records.
• Follow safety rules and make sure required equipment standards are met.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in last-mile delivery, logistics coordination, or delivery planning.
• Strong command of English communication is required.
• Arabic language ability will be considered an added advantage.
• Sound familiarity with UAE geography, particularly Dubai, is important.
• Good coordination, planning, and customer-handling abilities.
• Comfortable using MS Office tools, especially Excel.
• Capable of performing effectively in a busy, fast-moving logistics setting.

This role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and is offered on a full-time, onsite basis.
