About the Role
Original Joe’s is looking to add a line/prep cook to the Regina team. This position suits someone who enjoys working in a lively kitchen, takes pride in preparing food to a high standard, and helps create a welcoming experience for guests. The environment is suited to both those beginning in hospitality and those wanting to grow a career in the restaurant industry.
What You’ll Do
- Cook and plate menu items according to set recipes and presentation standards so every order is consistent.
- Help with ingredient preparation and station setup while following kitchen procedures and recipe instructions.
- Keep the work area tidy and organized, and follow all food safety and sanitation expectations.
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to keep service running smoothly during busy periods.
- Track ingredients and supplies, support stock control, and help reduce unnecessary waste.
- Move quickly and efficiently to keep up with ticket flow without compromising food quality.
- Assist with cleaning duties and basic upkeep of kitchen equipment when needed.

- Prior kitchen experience is helpful, but training can be provided to the right candidate.
- Genuine interest in cooking and in delivering consistently good food.
- Strong focus on detail, with care for how food looks and is presented.
