About the Role
GDI Integrated Facility Services is hiring a Light Duty Cleaner for its Moncton, New Brunswick location. The role sits within a company that delivers integrated facility maintenance solutions across Canada and the United States, supported by a large workforce, long-standing industry experience, modern operating practices, and environmentally conscious methods.
The position is a full-time onsite cleaning role focused on keeping offices and common areas clean, sanitary, and orderly.
Job Overview
The cleaner will handle routine housekeeping tasks such as dusting office areas, vacuuming, maintaining hard flooring, cleaning washrooms, and moving waste from collection points to disposal bins.
Responsibilities
- Remove waste from containers, replace liners, and keep washrooms tidy and properly stocked.
- Refill essential restroom supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and hand sanitizer.
- Move garbage from collection points to bins or a compactor.
- Sweep and mop floors, dust surfaces, and vacuum carpets.
- Clean, disinfect, and polish washroom fixtures, stainless-steel surfaces, appliances, door handles, walls, and countertops.
- Take part in required training and follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
- Notify the supervisor about any damaged or malfunctioning utilities or equipment.
- Handle lifting tasks of up to 40 lbs.
- Carry out other related duties as needed.
