Role overview

Golden Tulip Doha is looking for a Lifeguard to help maintain a safe environment for guests using swimming pools and other recreational water spaces. The position focuses on active supervision, quick emergency response, and consistent enforcement of safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Keep a close watch on pool and water-based activities to help prevent accidents and protect guest wellbeing.
• Apply pool safety rules and ensure visitors follow the required regulations.
• Deliver first aid and CPR support when water-related incidents occur.
• Carry out routine checks of pool areas to confirm they remain safe and clean.
• Document pool attendance and record any incidents accurately.
• Work with fellow lifeguards to maintain uninterrupted coverage across pool zones.
• Make sure guests understand pool safety instructions and general usage guidelines.
• Support pool safety drills and help with training sessions for both staff and guests.
• React promptly to emergencies in the water and assist swimmers in distress.
• Escalate safety risks, maintenance concerns, or broken equipment to the supervisor without delay.
• Keep lifeguard certification current and remain familiar with updated safety practices and procedures.
• Share information with guests about pool timings, rules, and available amenities.
• Carry out duties in a way that supports safety, environmental care, and the wellbeing of guests and coworkers.
• Follow all company policies related to environmental, health, and safety requirements.
