Role Summary
This full-time, on-site opportunity in Doha, Qatar is for a Licensed Audiologist who can manage hearing care services from assessment through treatment support. The role calls for a professional who can evaluate hearing ability, recommend and fit hearing devices, support rehabilitation, and work closely with patients and healthcare professionals to address hearing-related needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed hearing examinations and diagnostic assessments.
- Review test outcomes and use them to guide appropriate audiology care.
- Select, prescribe, fit, program, and maintain hearing aids.
- Provide auditory rehabilitation support and related patient guidance.
- Educate patients on hearing health, device use, and ongoing care.
- Coordinate with patients and healthcare teams to address hearing concerns effectively.
- Keep patient documentation accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Remain informed about new developments and best practices in audiology.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform hearing assessments, diagnostic testing, and result interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with hearing aid selection, fitting, programming, and upkeep.
- Understanding of auditory rehabilitation methods and patient education approaches.
- Strong communication, counseling, and interpersonal abilities for patient-focused care.
- High attention to detail in recordkeeping and reporting.
- Good problem-solving skills for handling complex cases and adjusting care plans.
- Eligibility for audiology licensure and certification in Qatar.
- Previous experience in a clinical or medical environment is preferred.
- English fluency is required; additional languages are an advantage.
