Role overview
Stranger Soccer is growing into major cities worldwide, and Doha is one of the next markets in focus. The company is seeking a License Owner to establish, run, and grow the local business. This is an ownership-oriented role for someone who wants to build and manage a venture that makes football easier to play for everyone.
The opportunity is best suited to an entrepreneur with a strong love for football and the drive to develop a city-level business from the ground up.
What the role involves
- Build the Stranger Soccer brand and business presence in the assigned city.
- Hire, coach, and manage a compact core team of 2 to 3 people, along with a small group of freelance Official Hosts who will run games.
- Find and secure top-quality football venue slots for Stranger Soccer matches.
- Drive customer acquisition through creative sales and digital marketing efforts so players see the platform as a simple and preferred way to play.
- Plan and manage the game calendar so customers enjoy a consistently strong experience and return for more.
- Work with support from the company’s Singapore headquarters, including operations and technology guidance.
What you need
- A genuine passion for football and a solid connection to the local football community.
- Experience or familiarity with business, ideally across management and customer service.
- An entrepreneurial mindset or prior startup/business ownership exposure.
- A strong commitment to building, leading, and scaling the brand in the local market.
- Self-motivation and a results-driven approach, as compensation depends on effort, business judgment, and performance.
