About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Systematically organize, catalogue, and classify library materials in both digital and print formats.
- Stay updated with the latest resources and publications to enrich the library’s collection.
- Monitor various information sources and choose suitable materials to enhance library offerings.
- Guide students and teaching staff in locating and selecting the information they require.
- Supervise the overall administration and upkeep of the library premises.
- Administer the circulation system ensuring confidentiality and appropriate handling of library records.
- Collaborate with educators to encourage a passion for reading among the student body.
- Enhance the library’s appeal and accessibility by creating engaging displays, informative guides, and promotional materials for both students and staff.
- Engage continuously in professional growth and development activities related to library sciences.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of two years’ experience working as a librarian in CBSE-affiliated schools.
- Possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Library Science or Information Studies.
