About the Hotel
Bridge House Hotel is a family-run four-star property based in Tullamore, in the centre of Ireland. It is well known across Offaly, the Midlands, and central Ireland for weddings and special occasions, and it offers convenient access from Dublin, Galway, and Limerick.
The hotel places a strong emphasis on hospitality and memorable guest experiences, with weddings and special events forming a core part of its business.
Role Overview
The leisure centre team is seeking a dependable, diligent, and detail-focused cleaner to work during night hours after the facility has closed. This position is responsible for keeping the leisure club clean, hygienic, and presentable, with major attention on changing areas and the gym.
Key Duties
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect changing rooms, showers, toilets, and locker spaces.
- Keep gym machines, floors, and exercise areas clean and well maintained.
- Disinfect all relevant surfaces in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Restock toiletries, cleaning materials, and other consumables when needed.
- Remove waste and empty bins in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform scheduled deep-cleaning tasks as part of routine upkeep.
- Escalate any repairs, damage, or safety concerns without delay.
- Work in line with all company procedures and health and safety rules.
Experience and Attributes
Prior cleaning experience is an advantage but not a strict requirement. The ideal candidate should take pride in maintaining high standards, work well without supervision, manage time efficiently, and be dependable, punctual, and trustworthy. The role also requires physical capability for manual cleaning tasks and flexibility to work late evenings, including weekends.
