Key Responsibilities

Maintain the hygiene and cleanliness standards of the Leisure Club complex according to Marriott’s requirements while delivering top-quality service with a professional and friendly demeanor to all guests and members.

• Follow opening and closing procedures for the Leisure Club
• Oversee the operation of pool and leisure facilities, ensuring guest welcoming and care meet hotel standards
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene, complying with safety regulations and company policies
• Ensure equipment and facilities are kept to required standards and enforce Leisure Club rules consistently
• Keep changing rooms and showers well stocked with towels and toiletries, ensuring tidiness at all times
• Maintain statistical reports from visitor records to forecast staffing needs
• Ensure adequate staffing levels based on business requirements
• Acquire familiarity with plant and machinery, including Plant Room, Lockers, Steam Room, and Gymnasium
• Report minor maintenance issues daily to the maintenance department
• Adhere strictly to health & safety procedures and fire regulations
• Manage stock within the Leisure complex
• Understand and implement Accident Reporting, Maintenance Fault Reporting, and Fire policies
• Keep all service areas clean and orderly, aligning with brand standards
• Perform additional duties as required to uphold smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction
• Attend mandatory Marriott training sessions and departmental meetings
• Comply with Marriott uniform standards and uphold standard operating procedures
• Remain informed about hotel facilities, amenities, and operational hours

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in similar roles preferred but not mandatory
• Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills
• Innovative with a proactive and dependable work ethic
• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team
• Attention to detail with excellent guest relations skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Good knowledge of hotel services and local area attractions
• Flexibility to work hours aligned with business needs

Safety and Security

• Prompt reporting of accidents and injuries to management
• Attending to or reporting health and safety hazards immediately
• Ensuring all tasks comply with legal and Marriott safety standards
