Role summary
This is a remote contract position for a legal specialist supporting a client’s documentation and compliance needs from anywhere. The work centers on reviewing legal materials, reducing risk, and helping ensure business activities stay aligned with applicable laws and regulations.
Compensation
The engagement pays between $15 and $40 per hour.
What you’ll do
- Examine contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to spot exposure and confirm compliance.
- Offer practical legal guidance to internal stakeholders on regulatory and contractual questions.
- Prepare and update legal content such as terms of service, privacy policies, and disclaimers.
- Evaluate the legal impact of business choices and recommend ways to reduce risk.
- Work with teams across the business to resolve legal issues that arise during product and operational work.
