Job description
Role Summary
This is a full-time remote legal research position supporting one of the employer’s clients. The selected professional will examine complex legal and regulatory issues, help guide product and compliance work, and contribute to technical approaches that make legal research more efficient.
Compensation
The annual payout for this role is between $350K and $500K.
Key Responsibilities
- Study statutes, regulations, and court decisions to help shape product and business decisions.
- Create technical methods and systems that improve or automate legal research workflows.
- Work closely with teams across functions to build legal considerations into product design.
- Assess new legal developments and determine how they may affect technology products.
- Prepare technical notes, guidance documents, and compliance-related instructions for product development.
Required Qualifications
- A Juris Doctor degree or an equivalent legal qualification is required.
- Strong knowledge of legal research techniques and research tools.
- Hands-on exposure to regulatory review and compliance structures.
- Ability to convert legal findings into technical specifications or requirements.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
