Role overview
This is a full-time remote position for a Legal Research Analyst, supporting a client-side technical team from anywhere in Ireland or remotely. The role focuses on examining legal and regulatory requirements, turning complex findings into practical guidance, and helping shape product decisions that stay aligned with current compliance expectations.
The work also includes building structured approaches to legal research so that legal analysis can be handled more efficiently and integrated into product and compliance workflows.
Key responsibilities
- Study and explain laws, regulations, and judicial decisions to guide product and business choices.
- Create technical methods and tools that streamline legal research tasks.
- Work closely with teams across functions to bring legal input into product planning and design.
- Assess new and changing legal developments and judge how they may affect technology solutions.
- Prepare technical notes, process documents, and compliance guidance for product development.
Required qualifications
- A Juris Doctor degree or an equivalent legal qualification is needed.
- Hands-on knowledge of legal research methods and research tools is expected.
- Experience in regulatory review and compliance frameworks is required.
- You should be able to convert legal ideas into technical or operational requirements.
- Strong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving abilities are important.
