Role Overview
We are searching for a personable and organized Legal Receptionist to join the team full-time, acting as the initial point of contact for clients and supporting our Principal and solicitors as the firm continues its expansion.
Key Duties
- Act as the primary contact for client inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Oversee reception area operations, client appointments, and meeting room management.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Maintain office inventory and assist with general administrative tasks.
- Prepare, format, and manage documents, correspondence, and court materials.
- Communicate with clients and external parties professionally and discreetly.
- Provide support to legal staff including filing, document management, and helping with billing coordination.
Candidate Profile
- At least two years’ experience in a legal, corporate, or professional receptionist role or current enrollment in a legal tertiary program.
- Familiarity with legal software such as LEAP or Smokeball is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills complemented by strong presentation capabilities.
- Demonstrated aptitude for organization and effective time management.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional demeanor with a proactive, friendly approach.
- Strong eye for detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
