Role overview
William Fry LLP is seeking a Legal PA to join its well-regarded Projects & Construction practice in Dublin. This is a permanent, full-time position supporting a busy team that advises on construction, energy, infrastructure, and procurement matters.
What you will do
- Manage demanding diaries and organise travel arrangements.
- Prepare, edit, and format high-quality documents from dictation and handwritten notes, following the firm’s house style.
- Oversee billing activity for allocated matters and ensure it is handled accurately.
- Prepare business development materials for prospective client meetings, including research, biographies, and company background information.
- Handle email, calendar, and contact management.
- Record and maintain business development data in the firm’s Interaction CRM platform.
- Keep filing up to date, including electronic filing.
- Carry out general office administration such as printing, mailing, photocopying, and scanning.
- Support partners and associates with additional tasks as needed within the assigned allocation.
What we are looking for
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Legal PA or Secretary supporting senior professionals.
- Strong command of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience using document management and billing software.
- Experience with digital dictation tools.
- The ability to shift priorities quickly when circumstances change.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to day-to-day work.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to rank tasks by urgency and importance.
- A consistently discreet and confidential manner.
- Willingness to take ownership of the role’s responsibilities.
- A team-oriented mindset and the flexibility to support colleagues when needed.
- Interest in learning and developing skills for continuous improvement.
