Legal Executive

About the Role

Xpressbees is seeking a meticulous Legal Executive to oversee litigation cases and manage the entire contract lifecycle while ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and company standards. This position demands a proactive individual who can efficiently communicate and collaborate with both internal stakeholders and external legal advisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, examine, and negotiate diverse commercial contracts such as Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and vendor agreements.
• Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws and internal policies.
• Monitor and handle ongoing litigation matters by liaising with external counsel when necessary.
• Prepare legal documents including case summaries, notices, responses, and materials required for court hearings.
• Maintain an organized litigation case tracker and provide consistent status reports.
• Offer legal guidance to internal teams regarding risks, rights, and obligations under current laws and contractual agreements.
• Support due diligence activities and conduct risk evaluations linked to business transactions.

Required Experience and Skills

• A minimum of 2 to 4 years of practical experience in managing litigation and contract drafting or reviewing.
• Solid understanding of civil, commercial, and corporate legal frameworks.
• Exceptional skills in drafting, negotiating, and communicating effectively.
• Familiarity with laws related to e-commerce, logistics, or corporate sectors is advantageous.

Educational Qualifications

• Must possess an LL.B. degree from an accredited university; an LL.M. degree is preferable but not mandatory.
