About the role
PrimeTalent is partnering with a respected law firm in the St. Louis area to hire a Legal Assistant for its transactional practice in Clayton. This opportunity is well suited to a professional with more than 3 years of experience supporting corporate or transactional legal work who is looking to move into a stronger, team-oriented environment.
Key responsibilities
In this position, you will support attorneys and paralegals across a range of transactional and estate-related matters.
- Prepare, revise, and finalize corporate paperwork such as board minutes, real estate closing documents, banking materials, and contracts.
- Assist with the drafting and completion of estate planning documents.
- Handle deed recording and e-filing for estate and probate matters.
- Draft correspondence and keep calendars organized and up to date.
- Work closely with attorneys and paralegals to keep matters moving smoothly.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience supporting corporate or transactional legal matters.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt quickly and manage changing priorities.
- Comfort working in a collaborative legal team.
Compensation and benefits
The starting salary is $52,000 per year, with compensation based on experience. The firm offers a hybrid work arrangement of one week in the office followed by two weeks working remotely, along with medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
