About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Legal Advisor based in Dubai, who possesses comprehensive knowledge of UAE labor, corporate, and company law. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing legal matters, delivering legal and administrative assistance, and ensuring the organization's adherence to UAE statutory and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, legal documents, and submissions while offering legal opinions as per UAE labor and corporate regulations.
- Assessing legal issues and formulating effective legal strategies.
- Managing litigation cases, contract administration, and resolving disputes independently.
- Ensuring strict compliance with applicable UAE corporate laws and regulations.
- Evaluating legal documents to identify risks and suggesting appropriate corrective actions.
- Communicating legal risks to management and stakeholders with practical mitigation advice.
- Managing visa renewal and processing through the DMCC portal.
- Applying UAE company laws to shield the organization from legal and regulatory risks.
- Keeping updated with legislative amendments and shifts in laws, regulations, and government policies affecting the organization.
- Conducting research and analysis on updates related to legal, tax, financial, and labor laws, providing timely guidance.
- Engaging with government entities, regulatory bodies, and external legal consultants as necessary.
- Maintaining precise legal documentation, contracts, and compliance records.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) is essential.
- At least 2 years of legal experience, ideally in an in-house legal capacity within the UAE.
- Thorough understanding of UAE Labor Law, Corporate Law, and Company Law.
- Strong abilities in legal research, analysis, negotiation, and problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Capacity to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic is beneficial.
