Research Focus

• Investigate integrated sales-service systems and servitisation within B2B environments, emphasizing the design, governance, and scaling of customer-centric systems that combine relationship management, service operations, analytics, and technology to co-create value and promote sustainable outcomes.
• Examine the organizational and ethical dimensions of AI-augmented selling and service.
• Explore the co-evolution of organizations, markets, and institutional fields towards prosocial, sustainable, and low-impact capitalism, emphasizing responsible innovation, business model transformation, legitimacy, behavior change, and inclusive societal outcomes.
• Align research with the mission of reimagining capitalism for societal and environmental benefit.

Teaching and Service

The role involves contributing to an outstanding learning experience by teaching various courses across Marketing and/or Management and International Business departments, employing innovative instructional methods. The appointee is expected to participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university committees and community service.

Candidate Requirements

• Hold a PhD in a relevant field or be near completion (for Lecturer level).
• A track record or potential for delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses effectively.
• Publications in leading journals (e.g., ABDC A*, A or AJG 4*, 4, 3-ranked).
• Experience securing internal and external research funding.
• Curriculum design capabilities at course or program level.
• Successful supervision of Masters and PhD students to completion.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach.

Remuneration

Salary depends on experience and academic rank, with approximate annual ranges in New Zealand dollars:

• Lecturer: 99,788 to 119,204
• Senior Lecturer: 126,863 to 158,904
• Associate Professor: starting from 165,808
