About the Team

The Human Resources division is committed to supporting employees by providing the frameworks, care, and professional growth resources necessary for individuals to thrive, ultimately fostering the company's continued success. The department is structured around three strategic sectors:

  • Compensation and Benefits, including payroll management, health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, and immigration support.
  • Human Resources Business Partners, overseeing performance management, employee relations, talent acquisition and retention, coaching, and counseling.
  • Talent Development, focusing on corporate social responsibility, diversity and inclusion, learning initiatives, leadership growth, internal communications, employee engagement, and internship programs.

This internship is situated within the Talent Development team, a group of specialists dedicated to promoting Hermès culture and values through engagement and educational strategies tailored to the US workforce.

About the Internship Program - Generation H

Hermès has a longstanding tradition spanning over 185 years, fostering a culture of discovery for employees and clients alike. The Generation H internship program offers students real-world professional exposure aligned with their academic pursuits. Interns will contribute to their specific teams, participate in a series of guest lectures, receive mentorship aimed at professional growth, network internally, and collaborate on a culminating capstone project.

The program lasts around four months, specifically from August 3, 2026, to December 18, 2026, and requires full-time, on-site participation at Hermès' New York corporate headquarters. Interns are compensated $20 per hour, with full-time positions requiring 37.5 hours weekly and part-time roles demanding 15 to 35 hours per week.

Role Overview

The Learning Enablement Intern will partner closely with the Manager of Learning Enablement to support initiatives enhancing the company's digital learning platforms. This position offers hands-on experience with HR systems, data evaluation, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support creation of dashboards and reports based on learning metrics.
  • Analyze data from Learning Management and HR Information Systems to detect trends related to onboarding, compliance, and learning activities.
  • Perform data analyses and assist with ongoing compliance reporting to leadership and human resources partners.
  • Execute data audits to maintain accuracy and consistency across multiple systems.
  • Research and propose enhancements aimed at increasing training accessibility and engagement.
  • Contribute actively to the program's capstone project incorporating practical semester experiences.
  • Carry out additional support tasks for the Learning team as needed.

Candidate Profile

  • Junior or senior undergraduate student pursuing a relevant discipline such as Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or Business.
  • Passionate about Human Resources, adult education, or data analysis.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 tools, especially Excel; familiarity with Power BI is advantageous.
  • Meticulous, inventive, quick to learn.
  • Capable of collaborating effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Motivated, inquisitive, and enthusiastic about professional growth in a human resources setting.
