We are recruiting for a Learning & Development Manager in New York, NY, for a highly regarded alternative investment firm known for drawing top talent, putting significant resources into employee growth, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Role summary

As the Learning & Development Manager, you will oversee the rollout of regional learning programs and collaborate with business leaders to strengthen employee capability, engagement, and long-term growth. The role provides broad exposure across the business and the chance to influence learning strategy while still being directly involved in program execution.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle delivery of regional learning and leadership development programs.
  • Work with internal teams and external vendors to make sure training programs run smoothly.
  • Lead interactive workshops and learning sessions for employees at different levels.
  • Tailor global learning materials for regional needs while keeping the overall approach consistent.
  • Create strong working relationships with business leaders so learning efforts support company goals.
  • Act as a central contact for employees looking for development paths and career advancement support.
  • Use Learning Management Systems (LMS) to administer programs, track reporting, and support participant engagement.
  • Review learning data, assess how effective programs are, and suggest improvements.
  • Handle several learning projects at once while keeping accuracy, detail, and delivery quality high.

Candidate profile

We are looking for someone with around 7 to 10 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Organizational Development, or Program Management. Experience delivering learning programs in a complex, fast-moving financial services environment is important.

You should be comfortable presenting and facilitating sessions, including with senior stakeholders. The role also requires the ability to manage several priorities at once without losing quality.

Cross-functional collaboration with HR and business leadership teams is key, along with a strong analytical approach to measuring learning outcomes and program impact. Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills are essential.

A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of experience is required.
